Together with such extensive comings and goings of people, various handicrafts were introduced into this area. By exerting their ingenuities using these introduced arts, local people invented Ise toys. These include yo-yos, Nari-goma (whistling top), Kendama (a cup and ball) and Daruma-tataki. The warmth of the wood and bright colors remain like those of old times.
