MOOC means massive available online program:
- Massive because enrollments are limitless and may come across thousands and thousands.
- Start because everyone can enlist — that is, there is absolutely no admission procedure.
- On the web because they’re delivered through the internet.
- Course because their goal is always to show a particular topic.
