What Exactly Is Cannabis Oil?
Cannabis oil is fluid produced by the cannabis plant. There are lots of techniques to extract oil from the plant, including CO2 removal, says Dr. Tim Shu, creator and CEO of a pet cannabis company in California called VETCBD.
“The marijuana flower contains trichomes, that are glands which have essential natural oils,” Shu explains. When the glands are divided through the plant, they may be developed to obtain the ratio that is ideal of, he says.
Marijuana flowers have 80 various cannabinoids, Shu says, including THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive component) and CBD (cannabidiol, the medical component).
“by using cannabinoids together, it is far better than separately,” Shu claims of this “entourage effect” offered by cannabis. Hemp items, by themselves, contain not as much as 0.3 percent THC.
