RUGBY WORLD CUP™ PROUD HOST

Oto Tsubojakushi, Kuriki-zaiku

In the Yoshino area, which is covered with vast ancient forest, the production of Tsubojakushi (ladle), Hirajakushi (rice ladle), or the like has been carried on extensively since around the Muromachi period.
Even though there is no end to the number of metal products being made today, the highly water-resistant qualities of the chestnut material mean that this technique continues to survive into the present.
