Jazz Town Kobe
From olden days, Kobe prospered as a port town and introduced varieties of overseas cultures. We have jazz as one of them. Kobe is called the birthplace town of jazz because a professional band played jazz for the first time in Japan.
There are a numbers of jazz bars，jazz cafes, live houses, etc., in Kobe, “Kobe Jazz Street”, the event where tunes of jazz flow, will take place in autumn every year.
