Izumi Gushi (Comb)
In the latter half of the 6th century, a foreigner, who had 8 different kinds of tools for making combs, was said to have drifted ashore at Kaizuka beach and to have taught the art of comb making to the people there.
Made of Hontsuge (pure boxwood), Izumi-gushi causes little static electricity and no damage when you comb your hair.
The more you use the comb, the deeper its amber-color gloss becomes.
This is a special charm of Izumi-gushi.
