Banshu Miki Cutlery
After the fall of Miki Castle in Tensho 8 (1580), carpenters flocked together from various parts of Japan to restore the town.
A number of metal workers also came at this time and this was the origin of Miki Cutlery, craftspeople still retain traditional techniques to make saws, planes, knives and other varieties of tools.
